- Communal Power Infrastructure: Wilbahi Estate is provided with three (3) 500KVA functional stand-by generating plants for the common use of all residents.
- Private Generator Ban: Residents are strictly prohibited from owning and operating private generators.
- Mandatory Contribution: Because these generators power essential common services (security lighting, water pumping, street lighting), it is mandatory that all residents contribute to diesel purchases and generator maintenance.
- Fee Calculation: The amount payable by each resident per flat/house is determined by the specific section or block covered by their assigned generating set.
- Disconnection Penalties: Failure to comply will attract penalties, including complete disconnection of power from both the standby generator and the public grid (PHCN).
- Generator Operating Schedule: During power outages, the official operating schedule for the industrial standby generators is:
- Weekdays: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekends (Afternoon): 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- Weekends (Evening): 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM
